    Ar 22lr - Balance - polymer v aluminum

Decided I need a 22lr, and after discussing and polls here I'm going with ar with dedicated upper in 22lr
Bought the barrel and bolt...so the build process has started. I'm going to do a polymer lower and do a retractable stock
So now what are you thoughts : I'm thinking polymer or aluminum upper

Do you think that the rifle is going to feel weird and barrel/end heavy with all the polymer and lightweight stock?
Part of me wants jp vtac handguards...another part says if I go poly upper why not just go magpul moe.

In the end does it reeeeally matter on the balance? maybe not, maybe it will. The important thing is I will enjoy it but I'm still trying to decide what I will enjoy more

    Depends on stock being used.
Right now I have a PCF LOWER on
    a A2 upper carbine...

I would get an ULW barrel or complete upper from TACCOM3G... Won't have any balance issues...

That said, either way will work just fine.

I just took the easy way out and put a Tactical Solutions upper on a Spike's lower and added furniture to match my 5.56...sometimes I lack imagination. Plus I guess I have a thing for matching stuff.

I have an issue matching. My gf gives me crap every time I dress myself.

My imagination is trying to have a ar 22lr that looks similar to an mp5. Didn't really like the gsg-5 and other clones with the fake suppressor. One of them felt like instead of shooting it I should be swinging it

My polymer lower with Magpul parts balances quite nicely when paired with a 16" CMMG .22lr upper. Kinda has that KISS look to it too
