starting buckmark build

Ok guys, I need a recommendation on a GOOD gunsmith. My 22 pistol build will start with obtaining a tacsol threaded 22 barrel and compensator, however, I will need to send this to a gunsmith who can pin/weld it up for me. I am looking for someone who does quality work. I am not opposed to sending the barrel and comp to a smith thats out of town, but I just need a good job done. After I get it back, Ill buy the buckmark and install it. Thanks guys!

Mike definitely overcharges for shipping, but he does good work. Aside from that, just about any reputable Pistolsmith should be able to pin and weld the compensator.

Do you really have to pin the comp? Silver sodder?

I'm interested in doing somthing similer, except I already haver the buckmark URX an need to order the Tac-sol parts.

I'm trying to avoid heating the barrel up that much to silver solder as Im worried about what effect the heat will have.

Yes, in fact my barrel and comp is going back to them today. They charge $45 and turnaround is really quick.

I got the barrel back from tacsol and they did a fantastic job. one tiny little pin underneath and that is all that is visible. If I get another (when, not if), I will send it back to them to do it also. Quality workmanship, fast turnaround, great price....isnt this how its supposed to be? Ill put up pics after I get home tonight.

That looks like a ton of fun snypr! Same Gun I have, I'm going with a 4"barell and hopefully a silver comp to kinda match the slide...can't wait till I get the money!! Nice work!
