Hornet Products trigger groups

Has anyone used a trigger group from hornetproducts.com just trying to get an idea of how they are and compare to others such as kidd, volquartsen... their prices don't seem that bad for a drop in trigger.

I have one it's ok. Nothing special. Seems like a reworked stock trigger.

For value go Brimstone. Lots of options in that price range from David. For awesome go KIDD. But be prepared to lighten your wallet!

both Hornet assemblies I used were fine, low cost and fairly good quality. I knew it wasn't going to be KIDD quality and I was good with that.

Thanks I have checked out Brimstone and their price seems acceptable (tier 1), but they typically have a 3 weeks turn around time. As for the KIDD products I inquired about their "trigger job" kit and they had informed me that because my Ruger is an older model and has an aluminum trigger housing the safety might not work so I would have to replace that with a new ABS one. I might just have to suck it up and send it to Brimstone.

I have four aftermarket triggers in my 10/22s, one Timney and three Hornet triggers.
I like the Hornet triggers, they are crisp, clean and light without being in the 'Oh CRAP!!' range.
I haven't tried their full on target trigger yet ut their low to mid range trigger are quite good so I expect their high end ones to be better.


ETA: If you send them your old factory trigger assembly they will buy it from you.
Today or tomorrow I'm shipping them 4 factory trigger assemblies, since all are new I expect to be getting about $120 back which is about the cost of one of their trigger assemblies so one of mine will have been free!
