SIG 522 Neutered?

I bought a SIG 522 at the Pendleton MCX. It doesn't appear that the stock will fold or collapse when the release buttons are pressed. Am I losing my mind? I didn't think the b.s. rules of this state apply to rimfire weapons.

The AWB does not apply to rimfire.

OAL still does apply, so maybe that why it does not fold.

No idea either. According to the sales people that do the transfers, they follow CA state law. I'll stop by this week and ask what is up with that. Thanks for the info. Not a huge deal, but if it isn't required, I'd like for it to work.

It should def fold and collapse. maybe just take it appart and see if there is an easy fix?
