Mossberg 715t

A friend of mine told me he had purchased one for his lady friend and I hadn't heard of them. I looked them up and was a little bit turned off to find he had severely overpaid for a 702 plinker with a cheap flimsy plastic shell. I mean its not a drop in or anything just a screw on shroud. Can anyone attest to liking this thing before I break him the bad news?

Why would you want to rain on your friends parade? That's like telling someone you bought a new product of any kind. No matter what price you tell him you paid for it, they always know someone who got a better deal.

You're right. I wish he had done a little more research and he could have gotten more for his money, but its her first gun and she will be none the wiser.
