What if I mod my mag more than 10rd capacity ?

OK, my PHOENIX ARMS HP22A JUST OUT OF JAIL TODAY !!!
I found that there is still space in my magazine in hold more rounds, but I have to modify it a little bit.
I know you can not buy high capacity Magazine in CA, which is more than 10 round. What IF I modify it by myself? is it(modification) illegal ? if so, what trouble will I get ?

Have you bothered to read the law regarding "high capacity magazines"? I don't think you have. Instead, you are willing to risk a possible felony by listening to a faceless person on the internet????

To answer your question, you would be committing a felony.

Phoenix arms? I would convert it to single shot. It might make it last longer before it breaks?

This topic has been beat to death. There are probably thousands of threads that address it. As others have said, this would be a felony.
