the 795 thread guidance

ok so I just picked up my 795 today and have been looking over the 795 thread and It is completely overwhelming. Is there any particular pages that will help with finding optics, triggers, bi pods etc. I have seen posts of a few of these but its scattered over the thread. Is their some way to navigate this thread??
I just find it frustrating

For some odd reason, I REALLY like using the floppy disk spring as a replacement for the trigger return spring.

Maybe its just the idea of using something normally seen as useless for something else that is so effective.

Instead of the air gun rings I like the DIP picatinny rail. Then you can use any make ring you like. That UTG thing just looks too big and blocky to me.

DIP makes fine products but in my opinion that rail is just going to add weight and raising your rings higher then they need to be...

According to DIP it weighs 2 oz. I have one and it feels lighter than that to me. And it is only 0.21" high so with low rings I doubt optic height is an issue. I have a Mueller Quick Shot reflex sight on mine and its a little higher than optimal height but better than a lot of scope setups I see.

That's not my gun, its the picture from DIP's web site, but that looks like a factory charging handle from an earlier model Marlin 60.

You don't have the 26 floppy set of Office 4 install media? Don't have several hundred of them with old backups that you will never use laying around "just in case"?

Find a friendly geek near you that is old enough to have owned a 386 and you will find all the floppy springs you need. IF you can pry one of his prized backup floppies away from him.
