    22LR AR tactical ammunition

    I don't like buying into hype but Turners has this ammunition on sale. Does anyone have any experience with it in a 22 AR upper? Does it really help or not? Any experience would be awesome, I copied the info below from the CCI website.

    FEATURES & BENEFITS

    Excellent accuracy in AR-style .22 LR firearms (1.5 inches at 100 yards in factory testing)
    Optimized for AR-style function and accuracy
    Specifically tested for S&W M&P 15/22

    I've shot it with the winchester 555, Federal bulk (blue box) at 90 yards and I couldn't tell the difference. They all worked flawlessly. I was equally as accurate and inaccurate LOL

            So went to the range today and tried it. FAIL!! It would fire but did not have enough juice to reset the hammer. It would pick up the next round though and chamber it. I am running a LW-15 polymer lower with a CMMG upper. I have used the bulk Winchester/federal stuff and it worked 99% of the time before. I had a box of 50 CCI stingers and they worked great. Thought i would give it an update.

              .22 ammo

              In my dads mp15 22, federal bulk, cci stingers, and mini mags all run with no problem.

                you might improve cycling if hammer ramp surfaces and bolt ramp surfaces were polished/stoned and lubed with moly or a good hi-temp wheel bearing grease on "High load" bearing/wear surfaces. High viscosity oil on recoil springs bolt bearing surfaces also.

                    +++1,

                    Like that stuff a lot. Powerful, clean, and accurate.

                    Also, its your polymer lower hammer not the ammo causing failure to fire. I have a polymer lower/PlumCrazy they make a special hammer for rimfire actions.

                      Fed bulk sucks for any kind of accuracy. It is cheap to go bang most of the time.

                      10mm. Because .45ACP just doesn't cut it anymore. <Trailerparktrash>

                          Fed bulk gives me mansize groups at a 100 and plate size at 50..............just say the 12ga pattern to be exact. All others besides the remy bulk stuff shoots execellent to good from 50-100. That remmy stuff shoots barely okay but is the DIRTIEST 22lr i've ever shot and it just cakes up after a few rds causing ftf fte stoves u name it, its done it.

                            dunno what to say, but my experience is much better out of my guns.
