A Little BuckMark Help Please

I think I broke my BuckMark....arrrg!!!

I field stripped it to clean it and as I was brushing the recoil spring & guide rod assembly, the spring came off the guide rod.

How is the recoil spring supposed to stay captured on the guide rod?

OK. I've searched and found that I've lost the recoil spring guide rod retaining ring.
