I bought one of their youth rifles years ago when my oldest son was 12. It fit him great then and still does. The action on it is very smooth. I don't know how many boxes of Wal-mart ammo he's run through it. No complaints here.

I have two Henry .22s, an H001 and an H001Y (Youth) lever-action. I also have a Savage Mark II GL. The Henrys get fired the most--every day. I can't recall ever hearing a real complaint about the Henry .22s. I've got two, one for me, and a cut-down youth for my boy, and I'd buy the Mare's Leg as well, if I could.

I have an H001 and a H003, they are great rifles. Henry's customer service is outstanding. I find that my H001 (lever action) doesn't like to be babied and prefers that you work the lever vigorously to properly cycle rounds.

I have a Henry Big Boy in .45LC. I like it so much the next on the list is a Henry .22Mag

Cant go wrong with a Henry .22. I think I paid about $320otd for mine through galleryofguns.com and it looks like they have more in stock.

I have the H001 and it was very accurate out of the box, oh and action is real smooooth.

I've got a Golden Boy. One of my favorite rifles. At least 3000rnds through it with ZERO issues ever.
