Ok, which trigger is better? Pro's + cons of each? Any others I should consider? For a 10/22 of course.

Heck, people do it all the time adding doo-dads to their AR's.
I'm looking forward to your review on your new trigger."San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"
F***ing with people's heads, one gun show at a time. Hallelujah!

I have the same question and I'm reluctant to post it since it's been asked right here, but seriously?? OP asked for VQ to Timney comparison and the three of five replies were for Kidd with no mention to the question.
Sure Kidds are probably nicer but the two in question are in the $200 range, not $450.Comment

I went with Power Customs!Comment

$450? The kidd trigger pack is $290, which is only $30 more than the MSRP on the volquartsen. Where did you get $450? $465 from kidd gets you the trigger pack AND a barrel. Making a suggestion for a different product that only costs $30 more is not unreasonable. Plus kidd also has their kit which runs $90(isn't the entire assembly), but doesn't have the pre-set weights as an option like the whole unit allows you to order pre-configured.I have the same question and I'm reluctant to post it since it's been asked right here, but seriously?? edit: And the kidd is $290 for the 2 stage kit, the single stage is only $235. Where in the world did you get $450 from?Comment

Got the Kidd. I like it! crisp, "breaking glass" feel, way better than factory trigger, of course. I also had Brimstone gunsmithing do one of their tier III trigger jobs on another 10/22 just for comparison. Much better than than the factory trigger too, but not as good as the Kidd, but about half the cost of the Kidd, it's still a good deal.
If I have another trigger job to do on a 10/22, I'll go with Kidd again.Comment

+1 for KIDD. Its the shizz!
Yes, OP asked abut VQ and Timney, but would be remiss if he did not at least check out the offerings from KIDD.
That said, I have the 1.5# single stage in a 10/22 and it is awesome. The 2 stage is even better from what I read and hear.
At least include it in the mix. Go check out rimfirecentral or more info and reviews.

Volq hammer with shims. No other need for more expensive trigger parts.Comment
