Scope Rings Ruger 10/22...

Bought a Simmons 3-9x scope that came with rings. I'm not sold on the rings that came with them. What rings can I get that will do a better job without being the same price as the scope?

weaver and weaver mounts from Wal Mart work reasonably well for the price. My Wal-Mart sells a lot of stuff for the 10/22's. Are there better, I am sure, but for that scope, I would not waste the money.

The Simmons scope mount / rings at walmart are good enough. $10

For a .22LR, just about anything will work. I use the Weavers that we have at the store.

These are GREAT mount / rings. I have them on a couple 22's as well as three or four centerfire rifles as well. Good luck in your search

Warne has made in the past a real nice set of blued steel (gloss or matte) rings that fit the standard 22 scope rail, perhaps they still do.
