    M&P22 Magazines

So when I ordered these 12rd magazines from 44mag, they had a $1.49 fee per each magazine to make it into a repair kit. Little did I know this just mean that they were going to take my magazine apart to ship it. I was under the assumption they would give me something to block it to make it 10 rd. Now I am wondering if anyone knows where or what I need to do to make my new magazines 10 rd. Thanks.

The fee is to turn an assembled large capacity magazine into a magazine repair/rebuild kit. As a magazine repair/rebuild kit it is legal to import/sell in CA.

Acquire a 10 round magazine, disassemble it, see how they limited the magazine capacity and then replicate it with your magazine repair/rebuild kits.

The only difference between the 10 round magazine and the 12 round magazine is the 10 round magazine has one extra part, which limits the capacity.

      Just return/exchange them?
~$5 in shipping or ~$5 in parts.

I know I just need another part or a blocker or something to limit it to 10 rounds but I couldn't find the part I need when I looked online. Was wondering if anyone happen to know where I could buy it or maybe knows how to DIY. I get my 10rd mag that comes with the gun tuesday so I can take a look then when I get it.

          Try calling S&W customer service @ 1-800-331-0852.

They sent me a couple free pinky rest baseplates for my M&P9c mags (that came with the flush baseplate). They may be able to send or sell you the 10rd baseplate which contains the extra piece of plastic. They have great customer service.

Good idea, I didn't think about doing that since I didn't purchase from them. Will give that a shot tomorrow.
