    Lightweight 10/22 - Pic heavy

I had a couple guys ask me about my feather weight 10/22.

So here it is, originally a early 80's 10/22 with metal trigger housing. Pretty much everything has been replaced. It was duracoated MagPul FDE...

Here it is with a humongous 6.5-20 simmons scope... optic weighs almost as much as the rifle

Wears the awesome Tactical Solutions non threaded bull barrel

When weight is a factor, I throw on the Busnell TRS-25 and the whole gun weighs in at under 4.5 lbs!

The Metal trigger housing was replaced with a brand new polymer unit to shave a little weight, and everything inside was replaced with Volquartsen parts (Trigger, sear, hammer, stock hammer spring)... Bolt, firing pin, and charging handle are Power custom. Tactical solutions extended Mag release in OD.

With a couple BX-25 mags and the red dot, this thing is responsible for many ground squirrel and rattlesnake deaths here in SB County!

Thanks, Yeah, funny enough, it is unique on the 10/22... In the AR world, every mall ninja and their mom has a FDE gun, but in the .22 world this is somewhat of a unique look...

Crackerman... I like your style although the bipod for me is just a little too heavy... Especially since I can get similar stability these days with a simple usgi sling...

Bipod really is only for bench play, just not a lot ground squirlles here in OC to shoot. In the desert it comes off and a sling goes on for jacks.
