    22 rifle question

    Hey fellow Calgunners. Igot a question concerning replacement stocks. My 22s stock broke on me ive hunted all over online came up empty. it is a Savage Revelation model 115 i do not know its age bolt action tube fed. I was wondering if anyone can help me track down a stock?

    Is it a Savage Model 115 or is it a Western Auto Model 115 made by Savage? The Western Auto Model 115 is really the Savage Model 46. Numrich shows a checkered stock available for the Model 46, but it costs $70. It's part number 51 on this list...



    They also have a schematic for the Model 46 so you can see if it looks like your rifle.

      Pretty sure it must be the Savage 46 from the research I did. If you are mechanical, you might be able to buy a unilet stock from Boyds and fit it to the rifle yourself. That would be a fun project IMO, but it may be time consuming. So far I have used their stocks on two of my guns and minor fitting had to be done on both. They really give your gun a new look.
