    current 795 pricing?

    Hi,

I'm shopping for a new Marlin 795. Does anyone have a sense of the current pricing (and availability) of these? I found one at a local Big 5 (not on sale) priced at $200, which is much higher than reported on the threads from not that long ago. I can see the Bud's price online ($157). With the current 15% off coupon at Big 5, the local price drops to $170, but that's still much more than others have paid. (I looked on the Gallery of Guns Genie, and the inventory of 795s is zero. Plenty of 60s though).

    Thanks.

    ge49,

That's not a bad price for the money ($200) unless your on a tight budget. For myself Big 5 is very close to me and it would just be better if I went there instead of going to Turner's or something like that for a lesser price. Besides that Marlins rifles are well made and will last longer than you will for a lifteime of fun.

Towards the end of the year I'm gong for a Savage rifle which is usually on sale at Big 5. I do hope it's the stainless steel version instead of the carbon blue.

I think $200 is a bit high. On sale at big 5 its about $170 now. I would ask the manager for the sale price, they usually will do that.

Turners $159.95. Paid for one 2 weeks before Fathers day. $204.xx (and change) Out the door. Tax and DROS included. You could put a deposit on it if they don't have one in the wherehouse, IF you're local to SoCal.

There's a Big 5 coupon floating around that is good for firearms, let me find it......* here it is:

Use that to save a little more at big 5 if you can get the price for $170.

I've heard some people get them for $100 due to a rebate... I wonder if they'll ever do that again... I already have a 10/22 so no need, but if it is that cheap, I would pick one up.

No word on when they will do that rebate, I doubt it'll happen again for awhile. I did pick mine up used for $100 before fees. A lot of rifle for that price.

Well, I'm up here on the Peninsula south of San Francisco, so the Turner's opportunities won't help me. I did go over and start the purchase at Big 5 today, using the 15% off coupon; July 8 pick up. The Big 5 people tell me that only the Stevens Creek and Campbell stores still stock Marlin.

Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)
