    Dedicated .22LR upper for AR

I'm considering getting a dedicatd .22LR upper for the AR... suggestions? I've heard about a lot of problems with the earlier stuff, have the bugs been worked out yet?

Is it better to just get a dedicated rifle like the Sig?

Check the threads and you'll find a lot of guys have the CMMG upper and love it. I'm considering getting one too. Some say get the M&P 15-22. I actually have one and it's great, but it is light and doesn't quite have the AR feel.

The CMMG Uppers are a great choice (contact Shadow65 for a good deal)... TACCOM3G also makes Ultra light weight uppers (minus the bolt/charging handle). I actually have one of the barrels that TACCOM3G uses and I love mine.

I have 3 of the CMMG Uppers and one custom built on a Ultra Lightweight barrel from TACCOM3G... You really cant go wrong with either.

Look at the Nordic Components NC22. I love mine and it is uber-reliable. Feels just like my main AR in the hands.
