Can you please check with the owner for some feedback? There is very limited information on the web about the rifle.

The overall build quality is nice, and it is very much the same in size as a real STG44.

Then it would not be legal to import into the USA due to no longer meeting the "sporting purpose" requirement for civilian sales importation.

Or even better, .223 or 7.62x39 so the ammo would be centerfire yet affordable.

There are "conversion" kits for the HK93 series firearm that changes them to look like STG44s. Several WW2 reenactors use them because they are less expensive than acquiring real STG44s.

Sorry if I offend anyone on here who has said "I want one!" but....
I think it will be a total waste of money.
ATI seems to make a lot of "Replica" guns that shoot .22 so you get something with a lot of moving parts to make it "function" like the original but it doesn't "work" like a .22. A 22 should be simple blowback with the handle attached to the bolt, just like a 10-22 or a Sig 522. You are not buying a replica, you're buying something that looks like a replica.

Looking at it, its going to be heavy, which is good for a real rifle but not so much for a 22. The sight radius is uber short, and its going to look retarded if you put ANY optic on it. And the mags are going to be very proprietary and not cheap. And its going to be expensive.

I have a Sig 522 and it is a BLAST to shoot, its nice and LIGHT and accurate and doesn't look retarded if you put any type of optic on it. And the stock folds to make it 26.1" long so its easy to store and transport, mags are plentiful and cheap. Its almost the perfect 22. And I would dare to say that it almost ties the 10-22 as being the "best 22."

But stay away from this thing, my spider senses are telling me its absolutely craptastic.

One sold here in the Private sales marketplace not to long ago, was on the board for a while. I think it sold for $550 or thereabouts.

It's a good looking rifle and it comes with a cool looking box. If anything it'll be a good display piece. If I'm not absolutely horrible with open sights I might get one down the road.

I held one about a month ago at Wild Bills in Elk Grove, they had two. It is quite heavy for a 22. Felt real nice, and appeared to be well built. If I had the money laying around I might pick one up just for fun.

ATI is just an importer.
What got them the most business was importing German Sport Guns (GSG) made .22LR firearms.
GSG is primarily a German airsoft/bb gun manufacturer.
Last few years, GSG started making .22LR versions of the airsoft they make.
So in essence, every .22LR firearm made by GSG is a "replica" of the airsoft version of the firearm it mimcs in appearance.
