Ruger Mark III: Gap between bolt & upper receiver

Just finished field stripping a new Mark III several times to become familiar with it. Upon reassembly, there is a slight gap (~1 mm) between the bolt and the back of the upper receiver and the bolt overhangs the back of the the upper receiver by about ~2 mm.
Looking at images online this appears to be normal, but I wanted to check with the experts as I will not be able to shoot it until next weekend.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the additional verification jlock.

I examined it before disassembling the first time, assuming I'd remember what it looked like when I started: I didn't! Next time I'll take a photo or two...

How far did you strip it, all the way? There are several assembly videos on youtube including at least one by Ruger. Maybe good to check them out and assemble according to their way, re-verification.
