Does doing that help with the trigger pull at all? Or does it simply remove the mag-disconnect thing?

I like my Mosquito and won't be changing my trigger because it's a training pistol for my other Sigs so I want the trigger where it is. I am seriously considering removing the mag disconnect since my other Sigs don't have one and it's a faux safety feature that is a PITA.
