Machine gun style stock from scratch.

I'm buying a welding machine this month and I'm going to attempt to make a couple full metal machine gun style stocks for my 10/22. These will be "one-offs" for my personal collection and WILL NOT BE FOR RESALE.

I did this concept in photoshop.

My 10/22 will just drop right in. It's all looks and no performance. It's not going to be an actual machine gun. I just like the looks of it.

    Stock is fixed.
    Magazine is fake
    Bipod is fixed.

I'll be using 16 gauge sheet metal and metal tubings

Seeing what you've done, I know you'll be able to do this I can't wait to see it done.

While I'd like to see what you come up with, I've got this seriously great idea of my own. When you're done, and every step along the way, you can make 5 posts about it on every gun forum on the web. I enjoy not being able to visit any online forum without seeing your airsoft toys.

You seemed annoyed with my builds.

I wonder what you'd do if you saw me shooting these at angeles, shooters, island view.

Yes and no. I'm just not a fan of stuffing .22's into plastic or cheap metal airsoft toy bodies. Though as said, I am interested to see what you come up with, since you're going to do a build from scratch.

The second part is just seeing your posts on every forum I come across online. You post page and after page. All your builds are essentially the same, and you post a dozen pictures of the same build from a dozen different angles. Awhile back in the 10/22 thread, if I remember correctly you made 5 posts with over 20 pictures + 1 video of the same two guns. It's just not needed.

That said, I would do nothing if I saw you shooting. What you choose to own, build or use is your own decision. You can rest assured however as I've been to but never shot at Angeles, I have not been to Shooters in over 6-8 months, and I don't intend to shoot at Island View any time soon.

if aftermarket companies can make the same exact bodies that i have, i would consider buying them. since they dont, i realize i can build it faster and cheaper regardless if theyre made of cheap plastic or metal. would you have a different opinion of these airsoft bodies if they were made of expensive titanium, real steel, carbon fiber or gold? i bet you still wont be a fan. there's no point in making a M82, M200, M60, M249 from scratch when they already exist in a 1:1 scale replica in airsoft form. there's nothing illegal with using airsoft stocks as dress up kits. the whole "toy" issue is played out. we're all adults here. come on man, im not dumb enough to point/shoot these at people like a little kid.

i still plan to load this thread with 20+ pictures and 1 video.
