A few years ago I bought a Ruger LCP II .22LR and was impressed with its handling and accuracy for such a tiny gun. It easily digested everything I fed it, inclding some CCI Stingers. However, a few months after the purchase it stopped working. Something wrong with the firing pin or its spring. Sent it back to Ruger, got it back and after a few shots it failed to fire again. Sent it back again and it worked fine for several years but recently the same old problem cropped up. Sent it for third time on Sept. 9, got it back today and immediately took it to the range. Fired 100 rounds, worked perfectly again. Hope 3rd time is the charm because it really is a delightful little gun -- when it works.
