Took my two tiny .22 short pistols to the range for their annual workout yesterday. Astra Cub cycles CCI reliably but Beretta 950 shuns CCI and prefers Aguila. A few fails to feed but all and all they perforated half-sized silhouette at 3 yards impressively. As usual they drew a lot of attention from other shooters. Five .25 ACP mouse guns are next up for annual exercise, then a couple of .22 LR mice and two .32 ACPs before all miniguns go back in hibernation.

Hi Dan, have you tried CCI's offering called 'Upper cut' in 22LR? It supposedly gives optimal performance in shorter barrels, as defense round. Don't know about accuracy though. -
I make it a point to bring at least one .22 pistol every range trip. Cheap practice to warm up with. Nothing other than recoil control can't e practiced on a .22Comment

I was hoping this thread was about TX22's with FRT's."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you a man without a brain." - Sir Winston Churchill
