Mark III Recoil Spring Assembly Defect?

Hey everyone - I was field stripping my new Mark III and found that the Recoil Spring Assembly seemed to be molded wrong/crooked(#22 in the manual). Has anyone else seen this? Is it a defect or meant to be this way? It would seem to make sense to line up on the bolt.

It's normal. Mine and two others I've seen were basically the same way. It doesn't effect anything. The recoil spring rod rests against the assembly pin.

    I've never understood the self-confessors....

Both my MKII and MKIII look like that. One has thousands of rounds through it,the other even more.

Glad to know this shouldn't be an issue, thanks!
