    Winchester Model 75 Target

I picked up Winchester Model 75 Target, made in 1956, I lucked out, it has grooved receiver, so it will be easy to mount modern scope. Rifle complete in very good condition. Round count unknown.
Looking forward to see how it can shoot.

Outstanding gun. And thanks for bumping the bulk ammo thread down . It’s been #1 for a month.

Nice rifle, I have a T75 very similar, I had been on the hunt for a Mossberg M44US to replace the one I had, but the T75 jumped up at a good buy. The Winchester is more gun, PAX

I've got one someone cut the barrel down to 17 inches. Zero collector value now but it sure shoots well!

I can truly sympathize with you. My very first rifle I bought in the US was Mossberg 144LSB, I had great fun shooting it in Pacifica range at 100 yards with dioper sights. It was very accurate rifle. I sold it when I enlisted, still feel bad about it. If I come across one, I will definitely buy it.

Yes, I was on the lookout for 50 years off and on. Either too ratty or too $pendy. Then SKSs jumped to the head of the line.
My pops bought mine at the Oakland Naval Supply Center surplus shed. He got it for my 8th BD in '60, $5 bucks. It was evil accurate. I'd collect Coke bottles for ammo money. PAX

I love my .22's. particulrly the older ones like a Remington Model 12, Remington Model 24 and Remington Nylon 66 (which I was shooting earlier topday) but there's something special about a rock solid bolt action with a heavy barrel, even one as relatively ordinary like my Remington 521 with Lyman sights. It may have only a six-round mag but it will put all six in a single hole if you do your part
