It works great in my Buckmark, yes. Also seems to function fine in my GSG .22 1911, and that thing is pretty picky. American Eagle is another higher velocity "bulk" ammo that functions well in my auto's and is reasonably accurate. I use it for Bulleseye practice, but switch to Auto Match or CCI Standard when I compete.

When it comes to rimfire ammo, it's about what works in YOUR gun, not necessarily what is considered 'good' generally. That even applies when two firearms are taken off the assembly line right next to each other, where one will work well enough with a specific brand/batch of ammo and the other won't. I've even had semi-auto firearms where MiniMags wouldn't cycle the action.

Unfortunately, that means trying it in your firearm, then stocking up if it's available in bulk.
Bah, that’s so much work 🙁

I'm suprised about your trouble with the Golden Bullets, I find they work in everything. Better than my old standard of the Federal bulk pack. In fact, the golden bullets is one of the recommended rounds for several ,22lr conversions like those made by accurate arms.

Auto match works best for most guns here. I get good accuracy from an AR 22 and my Henry Golden Boy. I paid 4 cpr for it a few years back.

Armscore 38 grain hollow point runs best in the GSG .22 1911.

Federal Auto Match currently on sale at Walmart for $19.95 for 325 round box. Don't know if any California Walmarts sell ammo anymore. Saw a post from another state on rimfire central. Picked some up here in Arkansas this morning. Has always shot well for me.

That's a good price! Too bad that won't be the price here in California Walmart. I'm sure the prices here will be close to $30 before all the background check fee and tax and excise tax and mileage tax and global warming tax....etc.

CCI Mini Mags are the gold standard for bulk ammo. If your gun can't run mini mags, it'll likely have worse problem with other bulk ammo brands. Of all brands, I've had the worst luck with Rem Golden Bullets over the years in most of my guns.

Does anyone have good experience with Winchester bulk 22LR ammo? I avoided them for the last 15 years because I had this feeling that they sucked. It's the same feeling I have for a Big Mac. I try one every 10 years or so just to remind myself how much I hated it. I leared my lesson after 30 years.

I have a case of Winchester 333. Works fine for me. I wouldn't use it for Bullseye competition, but it is fairly accurate and is reliable in my semi autos..

OK, had a Bullseye league practice last night, and tried three different brands of ammo. All targets were shot off-hand at 25 yards, indoors, with a Browning Buckmark. The Buckmark is equipped with a Tandem-Kross trigger and gearbox.

Ammo tested was Federal Auto Match, CCI Standard Velocity, and Aguila Standard Velocity. The bulk ammo Federal Auto Match compared favorably with the pricier stuff.
