I posted a How-To video on YouTube about repairing the Phoenix Arms HP22 extractor. This may also apply to others that are having failure to eject problems.
So why not just buy a new extractor? The stock extractor on my HP22 came with a very sharp, thin point with a curve to it. I expect these may be ground and they may differ somewhat. This may be one of the reasons some people have great success with these guns and some have failures from the beginning. I knew before I even fired the gun the extractor was going to fail. The very tip was just too thin. So, when you re-shape it yourself you can get a bit of a radius on the end to provide a thicker contact area.
Have fired another couple hundred rounds since I posted the video. Working 100%. Before I did this my casing extracted about 6' now they are extracting about 10'. I guess that's a good thing. Anyway. It has worked and may solve some issues some are having.
I like this gun. Now that it's back to 100% I carry it as my shop gun again, cut grass, etc. I run a small CNC Metal and Wood shop.

Also have plans for the sights and hope to get the mags up to 12 rounds. 11 is easy. 12 requires milling out the base which I have done and it works. Just haven't had time to do a lot of testing with it. Both of these should be a DIY'er after I work out the details.
