    Colt King Cobra Target

One of my first purchases here in Arkansas. Far more accurate than my .22 Diamondback. S&W 617 edges it slightly. Extraction was very stiff at first, has loosened up nicely. Cleaned chambers really well and I think that made the difference. Came with rubber grips to tame the hellish recoil of .22LR. Looked cheap and were too short. Upgraded to Altamont grips. These are what should come on a nearly thousand dollar gun. I'll deal with the punishing recoil. P1040729.jpg P1040730.jpg

Damn nice 22 tank. I always loved the Colt MkIII Trooper in 22. Never bought one, but it sure would complement my 357 MkIII.

This could actually make the roster. Surprised it hasn't. Been out a couple years.

I used to have an old diamondback .22. Besides looking beautiful, accuracy was mediocre at best. Sold it a while ago.

I shot a 617, you could set staples with that thing.

Too Bad in California we have a list of pistols we can buy, but that one’s not on there.. So ignorant of these people to pass these laws so we have to search out on Cal guns and other places to find beautiful pieces like your Colt. Arkansas is obviously a free state👍
