Looking for feedback on Ruger LCR 22

Thinking about picking up a .22LR revolver. The S&W models and the SP101 are bit more than i'd like to spend on one and although i'm not a big Taurus fan, only th 5" 94 is on the CA roster. The LCR 22 at around $430 is tempting.

Anyone one here own or shot one? Looking for some feeback, either positive or negative. Thanks in advance.

I guess no one in Calguns has a LCR 22 yet?

It was just put on the roster fairly recently, like mid-April, and with Ruger not accepting orders since March to now, I'm not surprised.

It's probably only now trickling into the state.

My wife has one chambered for .38+P and she gave it to me, too much of a handful. We're waiting for .22 magnum.

I have the 357 version and love it! I just saw the 22 model at Sportsman's Warehouse in Redding last night and now it's tempting me a lot. So well see, should be a great little trail gun.

The barrel seems unless for anything other than close encounter defense situations where you'd wish you had a bigger caliber anyway. Its a "cute" gun however. For a little more you can get the Sp101 which is way more gun for the money.

i've got the LCR-22. i haven't gotten around to shooting it yet though. but dry-firing it with spent casings, it feels great and it looks good too.
