    Tactical Solutions stock and barrel

I received my Tactical Solutions Vanguard stock and X-Ring (aluminum) barrel last week.

Installed them on my well worn 10/22 and finally got around to shooting it yesterday.

Rifle ran flawlessly with CCI's and Winchester 100 pack ammo, both solid nose and hollow point.

Accuracy was what I expected, which means 5 shot groups overlap at 25 yards and come awful close to that at 50 if I did my part.

The Vanguard stock is perfect for this lefty and I was able to get a nice cheek weld, despite the rings on my scope being a bit too high. I'll be changing them out for lower ones.

I'm very happy with this setup and it is very very light weight. A real joy to shoot.

So, if any of you are considering their offerings, here's one happy customer who can recommend them!!

Glad to hear the tac sol stock is up to snuff. I ordered one from Midway sight-unseen. Can't wait to install it, although they keep pushing out the back order date

Which barrel did you go with?

I was incredibly unlucky. There was a guy out of Kentucky that routinely visited the Costa Mesa gun show with a whole line of TS stocks and barrels. I waited literally one show too long and he retired!!!!!

As a result, I had to buy from TS direct to avoid the backlog. Paid way too much, but this is what I wound up with. Didn't I mention that the scope rings were too high?
