    10/22 kids stock

Took my 7 year old son and 10 year old daughter shooting with my 10/22 the other day and didn't realize how big the stock is on the Ruger. Their little hands couldn't grab the stock and reach the trigger. Can you guys recommend an online store to pick up a kids stock. Thanks

I bought a collapsible stock with pistol grip made by Choate from MidwayUSA a couple of years ago, but it’s discontinued now. I can’t seem to find any online now which is weird. The collapsible stock is great for different size kids and keeping up with how they grow.

If you can find an early Ram Line fixed stock, they are light, small and short.

I have a spare Magpul one that came on my TCr/22, it's tiny. I'll measure the stock and gun O.L. tomorrow.

The Blackhawk Knoxx Axiom is light and has a collapsible stock. Cool looking (imho), very easy to adjust, and they don't cost a lot. Overall it's a great stock, especially for learners.

you can get it from here, and other places

I have one that I replaced because my wife preferred the Magpul MOE x-22 stock.

Look at the 10/22 compact model. It comes with a kid size stock, and you can swap on a full size stock module for about $30 when the kids get older.

I ordered direct from Hogue, a thumb hole stock for my wife & daughters’ 10/22. Hogue was able to cut an inch off the back end (all I asked for) before sending it out. With a KIDD ultralight barrel, it makes it easy for them to hold & shoot offhand. My girls love it.
Unbiased AR15, Barnard (sold ), BAT, Borden, Browning, Kelbly, Marsh, Nesika Bay, Remington, Ruger, Savage, Ultralight Arms owner. I like 'em all.

I started my kids with a Savage Rascal but progressed them to a Ruger American. It's got different stock inserts that start short but get longer, or have a cheek riser for a scope. They make a 10/22 with the same style of stock.
