    Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Scope

Day 1 into my 10 days of hell, so might as well order some accessories! I would like to get a scope setup and a sling primarily, was hoping for opinions on this one Primary Arms 2MOA Red Dot

It has some options for mounts and a magnifier, here is what I clicked,

Would really like to know if this is any good, thoughts?

Those will work fine, PrimaryArms have pretty good stuff so you should not be disappointed. Do you really need a magnifier for the red dot on a rimfire? Unless you're planning to shoot paper to 100yds I would just get the red dot only. I can hit steel plates out to 300yds non-magnified on a centerfire AR.

I had one of those on my last AR. Good quality for the price. Like the other guy said, you don't really need the magnifier. Just get it anyways. I think it'll be fun. Also, magnification helps you to see those tiny .22 holes. I have a tough time seeing them with my bare eyes even at 50 yards.

Yeah, just get the magnifier it adds to the fun and help with longer range shots. I move a magnifier back and forth between my 15/22 and 5.56 ARs. The best thing about them is that you can take them off when shooting at closer distances.

BTW, That's a great mount you chose for the 3x you'll be glad you made the investment, specially if you plan on sharing it with other ARs. I run a LaRue with mine, since I take it on and off often, I like to know that I can depend on the mount not breaking.

Let us know how that new Long Eye Relief 3x works out, it sounds very promising.

Thanks for the input, is the mount I chose for the sight, the high cantilever, the proper one? Going to be honest, I just picked the expensive options here This is all new to me lol. I like the idea that the magnifier can swing out of the way when not needed, just want to make sure that the scope mount is the right one and will sit proper.
          Thanks!

Here's my 15-22 set up with my PA rds, high cant mount, with a PA deluxe 3x magnifier on a flip to side mount. I did a little review of it with pics included

Haha! See what I meant about an expensive 10 days. You know you'll go through that 1000 rounds real quick right? The magnifier and ADm mount is a good investment, you won't regret it.
