Marlin 795 cleaning tips please

Well on Saturday I get to pick up my new 795, just wondering what to clean on it out of the box I know 22lr barrels are best dirty, but how often should I clean and lube the action, and what to do for that first cleaning?

I would clean it out before you take it out the first time as all my Marlins had all kinds of small fragments in it. At least clean out the barrel. If you're up to it do a full dissasembly and clean the bolt and blow out the junk in the hammer/trigger assembly.

There's also all kinds of gunk on the feed ramp and in the mag well. If you're not up to the task of cleaning and polishing the feed ramp during complete disassembly, just using the eraser on a #2 pencil can clean up some of the tool marks and the gunk.

Cleaning up the magwell will help allow some of those "tight" magazines.

What? I was supposed to clean mine before shooting it?
I just ran a patch down the barrel to be sure it was clear.

If you remove the bolt for cleaning,
Be really careful on reassembly.
It's very easy to bend the spring.
I ended up replacing mine.

Would it be smart to at least take the trigger assembly off to lube the front and back of the bolt at least
