    Anyone know what this is?

I was perusing rimfire central looking for some inspiration on my 10/22 build, and came across this lil' beauty

I'm super intrigued by the trigger group/mag release, but google isn't helping me out any. Do my fellow calgunners have any insight, perchance?

    Have you checked Tactical Innovations?
It could be custom built parts.

That 10/22 is a beauty though and looks like a tack driver

It says on top that it is a fully custom build. NICE

        Looks pretty cool.

Some of those guys build their own bits and pieces. Good luck.

They can but there are lots of restrictions and licensing.

You could basically take any run of the mill thumbhole stock and make it into that guys stock, with as little has a hand saw, wood rasps and lots of sandpaper.

I've seen that same mag release for sale on at least one website but don't recall where.

If you want I can try PM'ing Tony and ask him, since I'm a member over there.

Yeah sure, if it's no trouble. My fallback plan was to register over there and pm the guy. I lurk a little, but not a member currently

I could have sworn I saw that same mag release before but maybe not.

Here is another thread of his with specs on that same 10/22.

this isnt exactly a new build, but thought I would share it in its latest incarnation anyway :) its built for gallery rifle shooting here in the UK, short events and also bianchi matches. starting at the top Swift 8-32x50 scope mover base, this is for shooting the moving target in bianchi...

There are other mag releases that are the same basic design as his, just not as overly built looking. I almost picked one up at Cabelas once when I was there but decided the stock one is fine for my needs.

Here is one from tactical solutions.

There is also the Boyds which is kinda similar.

This is the closest thing you can get to a centerfire semi automatic rifle in the uk. They are prohibited though the 10/22 is very cool.
