I had long wanted an S&W Victory .22 but even when they occasionally popped up on Calguns but as a non-roster pistol the prices were much too high. A few weeks ago, however, it made the roster and on the day I did I ordered one to avoid the 11% bendover tax going into effect Monday. Got it out of jail yesterday and put about 250 rounds through it today. Factory sight settings OK on windage but much too high on elevation. Once I got it dialed in the accuracy was very good, about on a par with my Browning Buck Mark. Not quite as accurate as my Model 41 but then the M41 is in a different league. All in all a very nice super-plinker with factory night sights. It would be tough to choose between Victory and the Buck Mark if it came to that. Fortunately it doesn't.
