interesting ftf yesterday

Yesterday I was finally able to spend some time at the range with my AR and 10/22. I figure I put about 400 rounds thru the 10/22. I did have a few ftf instances where the round seemed to be jammed into the lip of the barrel scouring the round. since I was more worried about zeroing my brand new burris and just flinging lead down range after, i didn't notice if it was the same mag everytime or not. btw it was fun trying for targets at 200 and 300 yards with the burris rimfire scope

What kind of ammo was it? When my 10/22 was new, it choked on Federal Automatch EVERY TIME. My Marlin will eat anything. I haven't tried any Automatch in my Ruger since then, but I probably should. It's broken in now.

I was using CCI mini mag and winchester super X. mostly CCI though

i just got my ruger 10/22 and brand new i only had 1 ftf out of a box of 333 winchester. that's the only ammo they had so that's all ive fired
