Looking for a Ruger 10/22 in NorCal

I just started shopping for a Ruger 10/22. Can anybody recommend any shops in the SF Bay Area that I should be looking at? People have suggested Big 5 and it looks like I just missed a sale last week. And there's no Turners in norcal I'm just looking for the normal 10/22.. no need for the SS barrel or take down version.

Go to big 5 and ask if they will honor the sale price, the one in Ukiah has done that for me in the past.

          I suggest buying used
The older 10-22's have a metal trigger group

Wildhawker just posted a 10-22 in the classifieds
          go check that out

          Used older 10-22's FTW

+1 for Big5. If they won't honor the sale price (which they might), it'll be on sale again in a week or 2.

Thanks for the replies guys. I already contacted wildhawker, I didn't know Big 5 had sales on 10/22's so often. I'll give Eddy's a call too...

I have five different models in stock, starting with the base wood stock "RB" model at $239.95.

                cheers!

if you ever make your way to the sac area, Wild Sports typically has theirs on "manager's special" $199

has been on manager's special for like 2 years now lol

i think this might be your lucky day. i went to big 5 in my area and their ruger 5035's or 10/22's are on BO. But, i finally found one! check out targetmasters in milpitas. i just picked up the OEM version & not standing by for DROS. there's one left & it's actually the one with a SS barrel and reciever. the takedown version. for $336. if you don't pick it up, a buddy of mine has been looking for one & he may head down there soon.

@Greg - the bay model is the one I'm looking for. Does it ever go on sale or is the $239 price year round?

@Mossy - I don't go up to Sac much but I might make a excuse to go up there if it's $199

@EP - Thanks, I was ust there two weeks ago.. wasn't looking for one at that time though. I'm interested in the base model so I'm going to pass on the takedown version. May I ask how much you paid for yours?

$239.95 is my price all the time. Everything in my shop is priced as low as possible which precludes me from having "sales", unless I get a special buy.

Basspro in manteca is having a sale until 5/20/12. But it appears their sale price is $249.99, and it's only on the digital camo finish.

I'm looking to buy a .22 rifle also. I'm looking at either a ruger 10/22 or a marlin 795. Any suggestions? On another note, I'm interested in a Mosin Nagant. If anyone can help me that'd be great. I'm looking around San Jose
