    22lr Ammo value

I know I can't sell more than 500 rounds a month. Does 10 cents a round sound right? 50 bucks for 500 rounds?

Need more information. There's a big difference between Eley vs Thunderbolts

A lot of it is going to depend on where you are, what's available locally, and your timing.

$50 a brick is an 'average' and depends on what you have. (You weren't very specific.)

Aguila is running about $40 for 500. Remington Golden Bullets can be had for around $43 for 525. Winchester Super X will run about $13/100 or about $65 for 500. Velocitors can be had for about $12 per 50 or $120 per 500, while MiniMags go for $11 or $12 per 100 or $55 - $60 per 500. Both are CCI.

The list could go on for awhile. That's also the low end retail around here and on the shelf availability varies considerably. I can point you to gun shops which are charging substantially more for the same ammo, but they often have it in stock when the 'bargain' places don't.

I bought four 525-round Thunderbolt boxes for $120 at recent Sacramento gun show. Not the best ammo but works well for casual range and plinking shooting.. I'd do it again.
