    Bi pod for 10/22

What would you guys recommend for a bi pod for my 10/22? It doesn't have any crazy stock or anything like that but I would like to put one on eventually.

Can you even install a bi-pod without an aftermarket stock? Here are some pics.

I recommend Harris brm/s. they attach to the sling swivel in the front.

      Sling Swivel Stud Kits:
There's this kit that has the adapter for the barrel band:

I used this one, and installed them directly onto the stock:

      Bipod:
      USA Made: Harris Bipods
Other: I have a Winchester Bipod on one of my rifles. May get a UTG one next.

I went with a UTG bipod (Harris style) on some Uncle Mike's swivel studs. Just drill them directly into the stock, no glue or anything else required.

          Good luck!

            UTG Model TL-BP69ST claw foot
            or
            TL-BP69S rubber foot version

            UTG!? WHAA? Yes.

It is sold, light weight, compact, versatile and cheap.

            I run the rubber foot

You will need to install a sling stud or a rail to attach it.

I've got a UTG bipod on my 10/22. It's the only UTG / Leaper's product that I will EVER recommend to anyone. It's a surprisingly nice piece of gear. I wish I'd gotten a taller model though - it's great for shooting off a bench, but it can be a little short for resting on random stuff in the field.

The UTG 1 piece dove tail scope ring mount is solid as well. Most 795 /60 owners use it so their rings wont move

We have that on the 795. It is nice indeed.

I ordered the Midwayusa bipod this past weekend. For $20 it is hard to beat.

Looks like you have the same one as I do..... Here's what I did:

Replacement barrel band to mount bipod(as I didn't want to drill into the stock):

I have a Houge Overmold stock with sling studs and a Walmart Winchester $49 bipod. They work great together.
