Red dot sight for Ruger Mkiii

Hi there, I am a bit new to the ruger mkiii and would like some advice on which scope to purchase.

    Gun: Mkiii hunter
    Red dot:
    - preferably matching stainless steel color
    - moa 3 or sharper
    - under 200$

It is what fits my shooting needs. Please advise.
I'd rather be at the range!

I've been thinking of putting a Burris Fastfire II on my Mark II. Seems to be good quality and runs around $200.

Bushnell TRS-25 is also popular with the folks at rimfire central. You can find them in the $80-85 range.

I recently purchased a MKIII target and bought/installed a Tru-Glo open red dot sight. It has 4 different sight patterns, 4 different intensities, an 2 different colors (red/green). I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I'll update when I do. Price was about $80.

i like red dot sights, i have a mid price range one on my TAC 22. the problem is in sun light outdoors the red dot is almost impossible to see. at the indoor range it is very good.

I've got the FastFire II installed on my Ruger MK3 and like it. Very easy to shoot and accurate.

Same here. Burris makes a mount that fits in the rear dove tail.

                It works:

I went the cheap route: It works, puts the red dot where I can see it with my Tri-focals!

The new Burris Fastfire III, or the Bushnell TRS-25.

yup, that's exactly what I got and it fits great. I am told that I will have to re-zero the red dot when I have to take it off to replace the battery but haven't had to replace the battery yet...
