    Another 10/22TD scope thread

I went with the Leupold 2-7x28 rimfire with DNZ rings. Eye relief is correct, the objective clears the rear sight and it all fits in the case. Light, simple....hopefully effective.

Both Butler Creek caps are 03A. Waiting to get my Tier 2 trigger group back from Brimstone Gunsmithing. http://www.brimstonegunsmithing.com/...r-work-teir-2/

You have excellent taste! What a perfect combination. That's the scope that I'd pick if I bought a 10/22TD for myself.

Nice setup. Did you get the medium dnz mount? How much does that scope cost?

I've been looking at the same scope, so please update the thread with how effective, practical and useful you find the 2x7-28 to be.

          Appreciate it.

              ^^^^^^^^

I went with the same scope for my TD.

At its widest, it is really clear, with both eyes wide open. 3X is fine for 50 yrds and beyond. Excellent eye relief, quick acquisition, and great size for the rifle. Awesome scope.

Low mount. I picked up the scope in the CG classifieds for $175. They run about $210 new.

I have the same scope on an Air Force Talon air gun and love it. Tough to beat for the price.

No I don't. The scope was on my rifle for a couple of days before I sent it to CS at Ruger to have some issues corrected. I have Warnes Maxima low rings for it. The scope does not extend beyond the receiver much at all; the stock receiver half fits nicely in the bag.
