Gunsmithing a Mossberg Brownie...anyone capable?

My Dad got a wild hair up his *** and bought a Mossberg Brownie, but is having trouble with it due to light primer (rim?) strikes from the rotating firing pin.

Can anyone recommend a Gunsmith inside or outside CA with the chops to work on such an eclectic firearm?
