    Aguuila Super Extra ??

Anbody have any experience with this .22LR ammo:

I am looking for a "go-to" round that will work in three different rim-fire kit equipped pistols.

Recently, I had them all out, and found some old remington golden bullets in the back of the safe. These ran flawlessly through everything I had, but they were at least 10 years old. And from what I read about current remington GB's, they are not so good these days.

This aguila round is very similar to those old remmys:

    1250 vs 1255 fps
both have a 40 gr round nose, copper plated bullet

The aguila seems to get good reviews from everything I can find on the interweb, and I have run a lot of their .45 acp with no issues at all.

Anybody with first hand experience with this aguila round?

    TIA

That is very good ammo. My dad and I have used it in our tricked-out 10/22s, and Ruger Mk.II pistols, and it shoots very well in all of them. The accuracy potential of the ammo is almost as good as the pricey Wolf target stuff when I compare my targets. Also, I rarely get a FTF or FTE when using the Aguila.
