    ADVANTAGE ARMS 22LR CONVERSION OPINIONS???

    HAVE 2 OF THESE!
    GLOCK 23 AND GLOCK 27.
    1100 rounds of 22LR = $34
    100 rounds of 40SW = $35
This gives me about 1000% more shots!
Enough said... I save my 40ammo for the So. Calif. Riots....
and 22LR for practice and my 1000% return on my money...

I am with you! I just got mine for the G19 awhile ago and it was a lot of fun shooting it. The wife had a ball with it as well and now she consistently accompanies me to the range.

The savings alone are worth it, but add in concentrating on trigger control and other fundamentals have been greatly improving higher caliber rapid skills. I guess the only thing to complain about is not getting one earlier, oh well.

The one's (target, standard & compact) for the 1911's are great!, on the last shot the slide locks back...unlike the Kimber, Tactical Solutions and Marvel conversion kits. Runs good with Federal bulk. And groups the shots fairly tight.

Haha! Know what you mean -- I guess more ammo for us... If you do the magazine mod it'll run just about any bulk ammo more reliably.

              Hello Domingo,
What kind of 1911 do you have? Did you have to modify it in any way to run well?

              Hi Longhill,
Wondering the same thing. I'm wanting to purchase a 1911 and am thinking of a Rock Island Armory. Was hoping the Advantage Arms conversion would work with it.

              Thanks in advance

I've been thinking about one of these AA kits for my G34 as well. Anyone here use it on a G34?

I have shot over 15 BRICKS (550 rounds) in 2 AA kits. G27G26 & G23. All 22LR ammo works if you spray WD40 on the ammo so it's "wet". This permits the ammo to load and eject without problems... I have shot 1250 rounds in 1 day and had a blast. Both fingers end up tired, including my hands and arms... Plus they shoot great from 10-100 yards! Your right! Learning on a 22LR is fantastic. I almost feel "WASTEFUL" shooting 45acp 40sw or 9mm now...

Check the Advantage Arms original Web Site. I think G3 and G4 are NOT compatible!!!

G34 and G17 frame are the same. I always bring the AA kit along with either pistol.

That's good to know. Where is the cheapest place to get one in stock right now? Thinking of getting the g34 kit for my bday in a few weeks

$3080 SAVED ON AMMO IN 6 MONTHS! WOO HOO!

Shot about 22 bricks since owning my G23 22LR conversion.
That's about $140 per brick saved vs. 40sw ammo.
                            $3080 in about 6 months!!!!

                            40SW(28CENTS) - 22LR(3CENTS) = 25 CENTS/ROUND SAVED
                            550 ROUNDS PER BRICK OF 22LR = $137.50 ($140 EST)

                            $3080 SAVED IN 6 MONTHS = $6160 IN 1 YEAR.
$300 INVESTMENT IN ADVANTAGE ARMS 22LR CONVERSION.
2053% RETURN PER YEAR IN SAVINGS.
NO HOURLY RANGE FEE, FIXED ANNUAL FEE.

2053% ANNUAL RETURN WITH MORE FUN & VERY LITTLE WEAR ON GLOCK!
