Marlin 795 and Boyds SS Evolution Stock

Hi Everyone,

I just received my evolution stock from Boyds and as some of you know, some minor woodwork is required to get it to fit the Marlin 795. Can someone that has done this before to please post a picture of the underside of their stock and measurements of the cuts? It's my first time doing something like this and don't want to screw it up.

Oh yea, I'm planning on using my Dremel with these cutting attachements:

Would these work on a laminate stock? I'm worried about it cracking.

I don't know about the Dremel bits you posted. I used a 115 high speed cutter to inlet my stock:

I started by using the trigger guard to outline the area of the inlet. Lay the trigger guard over the underside of the stock and carefully trace around it with a pencil. I then used a chisel (with the flat side towards the outside of the stock) to outline the cuts, then used the Dremel to clear out the wood, layer by layer, with several test fittings.
