For those who read these forums, I got my savage 7 back from the smith. Tomorrow Saturday 7April I will shoot it with hopefully no burst fire issues that I had had previously.
I also have my Savage 4C with the rear sight now back to spec with all proper parts now (got rid of the wonky elevation clamp screw).
