    64FXP Range Report!

So after laughing at the stock scope for about an hour i replaced it with a scope with the 3-9x40 I had sitting on an air gun. Now that i can clearly see my targets I began to see what it likes.
Top choices include; Remington Golden Bullets 36g, CCI Selects, and CCI Velociters 40g .
Honorable mentions; Winchester Tin, CCI Mini-Mags 40g, and Fiocchi 40g FMJHP.
Not worth shooting again; Federal Lighting, CCI Cb longs, Blazer Bulk, and CCI Short Range Green.

Target to follow if i can find it. Lol I think i left it behind. Oh well.
    Rifles:
    Savage 93fvss
    Savage 64fxp

    Henry H001

    Browing Buckmark

Wow on the Remington GB's. I would say 99% of the people who've had something to say about them, say they are pretty bad. I bought a box and gave them away because they didn't work well out of my gun at all.

Funny you say that. My Henry loves the 40g Golden Bullets. I was expecting the same from my 64fxp but it just goes to show you never know what your rifle is going to like.
I did forget to mention the Golden 40g made honorable mentions. Lol

        Savage 64fxp Range Report

So after expanding my rimfire collection of ammo ive finally had a chance to break in and see what my newest addition likes. For bulk ammo the Winchester Super X Expiditer HV are great loads and shoot and cycle well. M-22 also shot and cycled well and even Remington Golden 36gr did great. CCI Velociter 40gr are a great small box ammo but its absolute favorite and most accurate was the CCI Selects.

I was most surprised by the Win-Tins! They work in only one of my guns, and not very well! I only use them because I live in the Lead ban area of CA. DR

I completely understand. They are never the first box i reach for. I just keep them handy when the timrme requires it.

              Just to confirm....

This group is the CCI Selects again just to confirm what my rifle really likes. 50 yards when the wind finally died down enough and of coarse after i had taken down the Rimfire Match targets. Oh well. The solo hole was from a sight in group (not in the pic)
