Maintenance (cleaning) help for Browning Buckmark

Hey everyone,
Just got my first handgun, a new .22LR Buckmark Camper. Haven't even shot it yet!

For cleaning after each use, what's the best / most cost-effective method? What products should I own

Should I clean it before firing it?

Any landmarks with the gun (in terms of number of rounds fired for 'breaking it in') I should be aware of?

I prefer BreakFree CLP found at walmart...

I use Hopps #9 on my Buckmark.

And even though you didn't ask, many 22 pistols are picky with ammo. My Buckmark likes the Federal 550 round bulk ammo and CCI Mini-Mags, it does not like Winchester.

Yeah, I've read online (anecdotally) that Winchester and Remington .22LR ammo isn't very compatible with Buckmarks.

I was gonna go to Walmart and get the Federal 550 ct.

Mpro7 to clean, militec to lube. Toothbrush for chamber, bore snake for bore. No wincrap or remcrap ammo.

I'm on 30000+ rounds on mine. Have tacsol barrel, had to change one barrel due to stripped screws but barrel fine/ like new with that regimen through 25000 rounds
