I am posting for a friend who has major problems with his well used Colt Cadet 22 rimfire pistol. For a while it was stove-piping which he somehow fixed, but he says some of the spent cases are "pregnant" or swollen compared to an unfired case.
Maybe I am wrong, but this has mean the case is under pressure while it is out of the chamber. ??? The gun has a lot of rounds through it and the owner says well cleaned. What might be happening?
