To me, it sounds like a warranty item providing the magazine wasn't damaged in some way that cause it (dropped, crushed, etc.). <--- Don't take it personal. There are people that will destroy something and expect the company to give them a new one.

Is this on a 25rd mag, or a 10rd mag? I know that may seem obvious, but my first thought was jamming too many rds into the Ca 10 rounders (that look like the 25's) would cause such a prob.

it's never had more than 25 rounds in it bought three boxes of cci mini mag i slide the top back to the fith row rows are 5 across at 250 rounds noticed the seperation and bullets tryin to stand up at top at 20 rounds and gaped wider at 25 and the Magazine has never been droped or loaded past 25 ordered a ten round and another 25 round magazine from Smith & Wesson last week should be here soon But they state these are one piece Polymer Magazines if that was true there should not be a seam seperation...I only want what i paid for if its a defect, and to know if anyone has had this same issue

Doesn't sound like he is, at least he's definitely not in CA if he has a 15-22 mag that holds over 10 rounds. Right.

So, first things first, contact S&W, because no, your mag should not be separating. And they have excellent customer service, so you should be GTG.

                Love my 15-22! Cheers.

                        +1

And BBs and SBRs and all those other evil things.

Hopefully S&W makes it all good again, they are known for great customer service, so I'm sure you are in good hands, OP.

There is also a ladies section on Calguns.... just if you want to check it out I guess.
